IRON MAN CHALLENGE SERIES Weekend Preview
Northern Nevada
WHAT? The second annual Evenson Law Office Iron Man Challenge Series will have nine races in ten days at five different tracks in Northern Nevada. A few changes have been made for the 2012 season.
The series will have nine races instead of ten. This season the series will have a day off on Wednesday, June 13th and also Summit Raceway in Elko, Nevada will be apart of the series as they will have the Thursday, June 14th race.
The series will start at the Rattlesnake Raceway in Fallon, Nevada on Thursday and Friday, June 7th and 8th. Then the series will make a stop at the Lovelock Speedway in Lovelock, Nevada on Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th.
The halfway mark of the series will be at the Winnemucca Regional Raceway in Winnemucca, Nevada on Monday and Tuesday, June 11th and 12th. Then the series will have a day off on Wednesday before heading to the Summit Raceway in Elko, Nevada on Thursday, June 14th.
The series finale will be at the Great Basin Raceway in Ely, Nevada on Friday and Saturday, June 15th and 16th. It is also an EQ IMCA Wild West Modified Tour race.
Zane DeVilbiss of Farmington, New Mexico is the defending series champion.

WHERE? Rattlesnake Raceway (Fallon, Nevada)- One mile East of Fallon on US 50, then North on Rio Vista Road, then left on Race Track Road.
Lovelock Speedway (Lovelock, Nevada)- Take Exit 106 off I-80, continue on Main Street through the stop light. At the Courthouse turn left onto Western Avenue, continue for approximately 2 miles (note: Western becomes Arobio). Turn right onto Sandhill Road and follow for approximately 1 1/2 miles. Turn left onto Pitt Road (hwy 399) and continue for approximately 1 1/2 miles. Turn right on the first paved road, which leads directly to Lovelock Speedway.
Winnemucca Regional Raceway (Winnemucca, Nevada)- I-80 to down town Winnemucca, North on H 95 north (1/2) mile,left on Jungo Rd.6 miles west to track.
Summit Raceway (Elko, Nevada)- One mile south of Idaho Street in Elko on 12th Street, then 1.3 mile southeast on SR 227, then west on gravel drive.
Great Basin Raceway (Ely, Nevada)- Highway 93 about 3 miles North of Ely, hang a right at Great Basin Raceway sign. (From downtown)
